The National Dog Show is a fun and family-friendly way to start the holiday season. More than 1,500 dogs representing nearly 200 breeds will compete for the Best in Show award, including a new breed in the Toy Group – the Biewer Terrier, the newly recognized Tricolor Longhair breed by the American Kennel Club.
Purina’s National Dog Show was first broadcast in 2002 on NBC to celebrate all dogs and has since become a Thanksgiving tradition. Each year, millions of families across the United States watch some of America’s best dogs compete for the most prestigious award with the best dogs by their side at home to celebrate the holiday.
Busy Philipps, actress, author, and podcast host for “Busy Philipps Is Doing Her Best” and her gold doodle, Gina Linetti, joins Purina at kickoff of the 20thNS Remembrance of the Thanksgiving tradition.
