Food recall requests are issued when the product is not safe for use by customers. For example, if an item contains an ingredient not mentioned on the label, it could cause harm to an allergic person. Below is the full list of current active food recalls in major British supermarkets.
The supermarket giant went on to explain what customers should do if they had already purchased the product.
He said: “Please do not consume this product if you are allergic to milk, return the affected product to the store where a full refund will be given.
“No receipt required.”
Tesco also lists two types of stuffed mushrooms for containing gluten that is not mentioned on their labels.
Affected products are for sale in Northern Irish Tesco branches only.

One mushroom product is “The Kitchen” Chorizo & Oak Smoked Cheddar Stuffed Portobello Mushroom, from UMI Foods.
The other, from the same brand, is ‘Harvest & Made’ Mini Stuffed Mushroom with smoked oak cheddar and sundried tomatoes.
These products come in 200g packs and are also recalled from Sainsbury’s stores in Northern Ireland.
If customers have already purchased the products, they must return them to their nearest Tesco or Sainsbury store for a full refund.
Food retailer Thrive Fish pie recalls due to an undisclosed egg.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: “Waitrose is recalling Waitrose Thrive Fish Pie because it contains eggs not mentioned on the label.
“Due to a packaging error, some packages contain beef lasagna with eggs as an ingredient but it was not authorized on the label.
“This means that the product presents a potential health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to eggs.”
The fish pie comes in a 250g package and is best dated before March 2023.
Customers who have already purchased the product must return it to their local Waitrose & Co. for a refund.
Morrisons currently recalls its own brand as Milk Chocolate Amour Ice Creams because there is a risk that some packages may contain bits of plastic.
The ice cream comes in three packs of 120ml.
Morrisons states on its website: “Please do not take this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund.
“We don’t need a receipt.”
