Strays has no home to feel safe and loved. They sleep on hot sidewalks, cold floors, or muddy places, and many cannot sleep deeply and comfortably. In no time, they can be caught, poured hot water, or hit with anything hard to keep them away. So they should always be vigilant. They do not have clean food or water. They rummage through garbage heaps for food scraps, and even eat spoiled food. They drink water from the canals.

They need so little food and water to fuel their bodies that they can walk miles again the next day looking for whatever little food or water life can throw their way. They are also always at risk of contracting fatal diseases or crashing into vehicles. They are more likely to die in the streets alone, even if a human sees them suffer on the road.
