Florence Crittenton Family Services is a leader in early childhood and family services. We provide effective intervention and prevention services for families of young children. Supported by partners like you, Florence Crittenton offers a comprehensive range of services, including curative residential care, home visiting, community parenting classes, outpatient treatment services for mental health and substance use disorders, early education and childcare opportunities for children. 5.

Florence Crittenton Family Services offers a wide range of services that strengthen families and build a stronger community. At the core of Florence Crittenton Family Services is the belief that a person’s past should not determine their future. Real change can be achieved when the family is able to recover together. As with any illness, we believe that those facing challenges related to mental health and substance abuse should be surrounded by their support system and their children. This is key to helping our clients break generational cycles of abuse, trauma and poverty.

Our programs and services include housing and support for homeless youth and their children, drug recovery services for families, home visiting programs, as well as high-quality childcare and preschool services. Through these services, and the continued support of this community, we will continue to provide the highest quality of care to families most at risk.

Vacations can be a particularly difficult time for families who struggle with multiple challenges and often traumatic pasts. Your financial support and in-kind donation of the items on this wish list allows us to provide a loving environment and basic necessities and services that can make lasting change for these families. cash donations: These donations are essential to operating our high-quality services for families. Financial donations allow for appropriate staffing levels, provision of necessities and access to medical care, ongoing staff training, timely facility maintenance, support to help children stay with their parents in a safe and loving environment, access to educational support, and the continued growth and development of our programs. Your financial gifts provide the transformative support these families so desperately need and deserve.

Gift cards: It can be very useful for purchasing gas, emergency clothes, groceries, over-the-counter medicines and other essentials that our small families need. Gift cards can also be used to print children’s photos, or for incentives and small gifts to customers on special occasions. The stores he frequents are Walmart, Target, TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, and Costco.

Items we cannot accept due to licensing regulations:

• Car seats, cribs, and baby swings

• Strollers, bouncers and cribs manufactured more than two years ago (before 11/2016)

• Crochet or knitted blankets

For safety reasons, we must unpack all gifts that arrive unwrapped. Please do not wrap your gifts. Our staff and volunteers will wrap all gifts donated before the holiday.

Donated items can be delivered at the home’s north entrance: 901 N. Harris St, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
