Dog groomer raises €380 and collects 500 kilos of pet food for Wexford SPCA

GEORGINA Keating, who owns a dog grooming salon in Butlersland, New Ross called Clip ‘n’ Dip, raised €380 for the Wexford SPCA through its annual Christmas collection.

The Aspire Christmas Collection pays homage to their little dog Casper, Bichon Frisé, who passed away in 2016 and who was known and loved by all Clip ‘n’ Dip customers.

“This year’s collection has been absolutely amazing, and without doubt the most successful year to date, the animal charity that will benefit from the collection this year is the Wexford SPCA,” said Ms Keating.

She thanked everyone who contributed to the group, adding that she has been doing so since 2016.

“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who lovingly and generously donated to Casper’s Christmas Collection and for helping to feed and care for the less fortunate cats and dogs cared for by the amazingly hardworking people at Wexford SPCA.”

A total weight of 500 kilograms of pet food was donated to the Wexford SPCA, along with pet toys, candy and handmade pet blankets, as well as a total of 380 euros in very generous financial donations.
