Good Dog, a new 1,850-square-foot dog walking, riding and daycare facility in the Pearl District, will open December 6 at 132 W. Grayson Street, St. 150.

According to a press release, Good Dog is owned and operated by Stephen and Kylie Bell, who are back in South Texas after running a canine daycare in Dallas.

Good Dog is designed to be a safe and fun environment for small dogs weighing 35 pounds or less or less than 15 inches in height at the shoulder, the statement says. However, Good Dog will provide walking trails for dogs of all sizes.

“We are really looking forward to being a part of the Pearl District and being able to serve dogs and dog owners here,” Stephen Bell said in the statement.

“We have a wonderful space where every decision has been made to create a wonderful little dog experience – we hope the community will love it.”

The facility includes indoor play areas and two outdoor play areas as well as indoor individual homes.

Good Dog daycare and walks are based on monthly membership, while boarding services are offered to guests at a nightly rate.

Bonus and one-off enrichment with dogs is available as an add-on. Although boarding and daycare services apply to smaller dogs due to space limitations, 30-minute and 1-hour walks are available for dogs of all sizes and are conducted throughout the Pearl District and the San Antonio Riverwalk Museum. Misha Millsap, Pearl’s chief operating officer, said in the statement that Good Dog will complement the Emma Hotel and a mix of dining and shopping options at Pearl, a mixed-use development.

“Good Dog is an excellent addition to the Pearl District,” Millsap said in the statement.

“Pearl has always been dog friendly, and we are excited to welcome a great team of professionals to better serve the needs of our community and their dogs.”

Good Dog is open to guests from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays and from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
